Weatherability Test

The AAMA Weatherability Test verifies the vinyl's ability to retain color and withstand impact when exposed to various climates.

Real-Life Testing

A special house built in the Arizona desert is used to conduct long-term field tests on each of our windows. Thanks to a southern exposure on the outside and air conditioning within, the environment here virtually duplicates daily conditions in your home.

In addition to a lengthy track record of proven performance, LbL regularly tests all of its windows according to stringent NFRC and AAMA standards. We're serious about maintaining and improving the quality of our products not because we have to be, but because our reputation depends on it.

Heat Resistance Testing

By exposing our vinyl profiles to as much as 300 degrees, AAMA can test for stress-related surface changes such as blistering and cracking.

Structural Performance

LbL Windows meet or exceed structural performance standards established by AAMA. Performance tests include resistance to air infiltration, water leakage, forced entry, and wind load pressure (this photo shows a wind load test in progress).
